Digital Office Solutions embarked on 2024 with an ambitious mission: to collectively walk 1 million steps in support of Business Beats Cancer Newcastle, a remarkable charity devoted to funding crucial cancer research and treatment in the North East. We are overjoyed to report that we achieved our initial goal and exceeded our expectations significantly, ultimately completing an astonishing 2077977 steps by the end of March. This accomplishment set a dynamic tone for the year ahead!
In April, we proudly announced a partnership with VertoSuite, a collaboration that promises to enhance our capabilities and broaden our service offerings. Among the exciting new tools we introduced was DocuWare, which will streamline client document management. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to James Oswald and his exceptional team at VertoSuite for their hard work and commitment to making this partnership a reality.
April also held a special milestone as we celebrated Lee’s remarkable 10th work anniversary. Lee has been an integral part of our team, and his unwavering dedication and commitment have not gone unnoticed. His impeccable attendance record and contagious enthusiasm serve as an inspiration to all of us. We are incredibly grateful for his presence and look forward to many more productive years together.

The joyous atmosphere continued in June when our team member Nicky tied the knot with her partner, Kierron. It was a heartwarming celebration filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories as we celebrated this beautiful union.
In July, we, like many others, cheered on England in the Euros 2024 – let’s say it was memorable!
In August, we were happy to hear that James Mawson, our Network Supervisor, and his partner Becca welcomed their second son, Charlie. The Digital Office team celebrated baby Charlie’s arrival and welcomed him to our family.
September was marked by our proud participation in the North East Automotive Expo 2024, where we set up a booth to showcase our offerings. We extend a big thank you to all who visited us and to the North East Automotive Alliance for organising such a fantastic event. It provided us an incredible opportunity to connect with industry leaders, learn about advancements in the automotive sector, and engage in discussions about sustainability in the industry.
October was a milestone month for us as we celebrated the 5th anniversary of our partnership with Osborne Technologies, a collaboration highlighted by Team Valley Publications. This event underscored the strong relationship we built over the years and our shared commitment to excellence.
We were happy to meet Ben from the Great North Air Ambulance Service. After our conversation, we chose this service as our Charity of the Year for 2025. We look forward to supporting such an important cause next year.
Over the past year, we’ve had a fantastic time attending several networking events organised by the Team Valley group and POW. These events introduced us to some excellent venues across the North East and allowed us to connect with truly inspiring people from various industries!
As we neared the end of the year, we wrapped up our celebrations with our annual Christmas party. This year, the festivities featured a delightful afternoon tea, and we welcomed a mischievous elf named DOS, who added a touch of fun and a lot of joy to the office.
